§6 · About
VN SOS, Tourist SOS, Terra.
VN SOS, Tourist SOS LLC and Terra: what each name is, and what it is not.
Getting these names right is load-bearing. They appear in agreements, and consistency across every surface is part of what makes the arrangement legible.
Proposed
VN SOS
VN SOS is the brand, and it will be the Vietnamese operating company once it is formed under Vietnamese law and owned by the Vietnamese Partner Group. It is not yet a service. No company has been formed, no dispatcher is on duty, and nothing on this site is an emergency service.

Tourist SOS LLC
Tourist SOS LLC is a United States technology company that builds and operates Terra, an intelligence and coordination platform for medical emergencies involving international travellers. It connects travellers, responders, hospitals, transport operators and insurers, and it applies structured intelligence to route each case to the right care. It does not operate ambulances, it does not provide clinical care, and it does not underwrite insurance.

Terra
Terra is the platform as the public meets it: the intelligence, the coordination and the voice. VN SOS calls it; it never copies it. The endorsement “powered by Terra” appears with the VN SOS wordmark on product surfaces such as this site, and never on legal or institutional documents.

The relationship
An endorsement, not a co-brand: present, credible and subordinate, the way a national rail operator might carry the name of the company that built its signalling.

Designed, not built
Visitors, and the traveller application
Visitors are designed to reach the same coordination through the Tourist SOS traveller application; the two names are designed to appear together in Vietnam.

Published in English, with Vietnamese to come.
This site is published in English first. A Vietnamese edition is published once a Vietnamese speaker has read it; until then, the English is the reference. Safety guidance is never machine-translated.
